Ashley Ching is a professional dancer at Six Flags Park. In the next five years, she plans to become an NFL Cheerleader. Ashley loves to travel, and so far, she has traveled to 6 continents.
Beverly Yip was born and raised in San Francisco, CA. In 2002, she graduated from SFSU with a Major in Communications and a Minor in Accounting. As an Alumna of Alpha Phi Omega, Beverly remains active in her volunteer work. Currently, Beverly is the President and CEO of Especially Yours Chair Covers & Linens, LLC. It was recognized as one of the Top 10 companies by the 2009 USPAACC Education Foundation & Wells Fargo Asian Business Leadership Award for vision, success and community contributions in the United States. Beverly is also a member of the Board of Directors at Cameron House for the 9th year and the Board of Directors for the San Francisco National Association of Catering Executives for the 5th year. She has held pageant titles including Miss San Jose 2000 and Miss Vitality 2005. Beverly is very excited to be Mistress of Ceremonies again for the Dragon Boat Festival.
Diana Noriega Weng
With degrees from San Francisco in Dance and Spanish, Diana Weng is currently a dance coach and choreographer. Besides being a participant in the 2012 Miss Asian Global/Miss Asian America Pageant, and winning the title of 2012 Miss Sing Tao, Diana has been the 2014 Miss Redwood City/San Mateo County.
Emma Marriott is currently a student at Stanford studying for a degree in computer science. She was the 2014 Miss Asian Global with her platform focusing on promoting the advancement of women in technology through mentorship and increased opportunities. Aside from her academic and platform pursuits, she is involved in Muay Thai, plays classical piano, and loves traveling.
Gina Su is this year's Miss Asian Global 2016. She is also a professional life coach, positive psychology practitioner, and founder of her own self development brand Gina Heart. Gina makes free videos on YouTube to inspire her community to pursue their passions. She is actively pursuing her own passion in film acting. In her free time, she loves to travel, dance, and catch up on the latest movies.
Jessica Lim is your 2016 Miss Asian America. She has built her career in the field of digital advertising and enjoys working part-time for the San Francisco Giants. She's continued to work to bring awareness for the under-representation of Asian Americans in the media and sports industries. When not on the field, this UCLA graduate can be found sampling new restaurants or swimming laps at the pool.
Michelle Chang is a recent graduate of UC Berkeley with an Environmental Sciences degree. Born and raised in San Francisco, she grew up hiking the parks and walking the beaches of California. Her fascination with nature, the fine arts, and sustainability have led to involvement with the California Academy of Sciences, the Asian Art Museum, and the Environmental Protection Agency. Trained in classical ballet and piano, Michelle has always enjoyed the stage. She has previously performed and volunteered at this event as a member of Lowell High School's Dance Company and Volunteers' Club. She is currently the 2016 Miss Chinese Chamber of Commerce/First Princess.
